We're Not Alone is one of nine Everyone an Artist? exhibitions.

To be human is to be creative, to be creative is to be an artist, therefore everyone an artist?

Made possible by lead sponsor Towson University, and partnering sponsors the Baltimore Collegetown Network, Johns Hopkins Universitythe College of Notre Dame of Maryland, the Maryland Institute College of Art, Stevenson University, and the University of Baltimore. Additional support from the Community College Baltimore County, Coppin State University, Loyola College in Maryland, Loyola/Notre Dame Library, and the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Location

F. Ross Jones wing of the Johns Hopkins University Mattin Center

Art

Art that happens when individual creative efforts enlist natural forces as a component of making. The exhibition includes a series of “worm drawings” by Denise Tassin shown alongside abstract works by Towson University students, and drawings made by machines engineered by Johns Hopkins University students.

Purpose

An opportunity to explore, uncover, and celebrate the creativity among all of us, and a chance to encourage college students to visit other campuses, interact with one another, and take part in the cultural life of Baltimore City.
